Pocket PC or Symbian OS devices, you can do this with the clsIPC class included in the sample project below. The attached .zip file contains two projects: a “client” and a “server” program. The Client sends a message to the Server asking for the current time. The Server will then respond with a message containing the current time. NOTE: The clsIPC class requires MobileVB 3.5 or higher. Also note that even though the attached project was compiled for use on the Sony Ericsson P800, it can be compiled and deployed as-is to a Pocket PC device.
