A while back we wrote about the Ericsson Widget Awards, a global competition to inspire both aspiring programmers and hardcore coders to come up with useful widgets for mobile devices. Now the competition has entered its final stage and Ericsson is evaluating the contributions.

To conclude the competition and to select the winners Ericsson is organising a developer event on May 3rd where you will be able to see some interesting demonstrations, listen to invited speakers and mingle with people from the mobile applications industry.

The event will take place in Stockholm, Sweden on May 3rd. Check out the details and sign up for the event on the Ericsson Widget Awards website.

If you do not declare this attribute, your application will be installed on the internal storage only and it cannot be moved to the external storage.

As announced earlier, we are now launching a web page where you can get instructions and a key to unlock the boot loader of certain series of Sony Ericsson 2011 Android™ Gingerbread phones.
