A long-sought-after functionality was added to the Developer World website last week, as we made the whole site fully responsive for most kind of screen resolutions. This means the site will adapt to basically whatever device and screen size you are browsing from, and make it really easy to read and navigate on all devices. So now you are all able to fully enjoy Developer World on everything from desktop computers to tablets and mobile phones! Learn more after the jump.

Today we’re proud to announce a new Developer World website. With the new site, we will continue to bring you the latest developer and technology news & tools for Sony Xperia™ products in an even better way than before. Now it will be easier for you to find our most popular content, such as tutorials, popular posts, articles, open sourced phone software, drivers and many other downloads, as we have restructured and cleaned up the site based on the feedback we have received from many of you. Read on to learn more!
As you can see, we have now started the process of upgrading the Developer World website. Yesterday we got new colours and styling, and going forward we’ll be looking at bigger improvements in the design and functionality of the site. Read on to find out more, and to learn why you might see some extensive use of animated retro gifs saying “Under construction”.
The Developer World website is currently undergoing maintenance. In the meantime some features may not work, and pages may not be displayed correctly. For example, it is not possible to comment on news and blog posts at the moment. We are working on getting everything running as normal as soon as possible.
As you might have noticed, the search functionality here on Developer World has been improved. Besides being faster, it returns much more relevant results. Gone are the days with broken search results and results limited to our Articles and Downloads sections. You can now find everything from all sections of Developer World, including News, Blogs, Tutorials and Downloads sections. You can easily find drivers for many Sony Ericsson phones. You can even search inside documents from our vast archive of user guides and white papers, available mainly in PDF format. Happy hunting!

As you might have noticed, yesterday we released our new Developer World front page, where we have merged our blog with the normal developer news flow. By doing this, we hope that it will be easier to find all the developer-related information from Sony Ericsson in one place.
Another nice thing is the fact that you are now able to comment and share all of our blog posts, news and tutorials by email or Twitter. We really hope that this is a welcome feature, as we are trying to be a really open and responsive developer program.
