Unlocking the boot loader allows you to put a custom ROM on your Sony Xperia™ smartphone, depending on your carrier, your market, and the original configuration of your phone. We have made a service available for advanced developers, which will provide you with a code that allows you to unlock the boot loader (not applicable for all phone models and operators). Flash tool for Xperia™ devices
The flash tool for Xperia™ devices lets you flash standard Sony software on an Xperia™ device with an unlocked bootloader (please note that only a limited number of Xperia™ models and and software versions are available). Learn how to download, install and use the tool here. Beta version!
