Developer University at CES is a unique event focused on Developers and the App Economy, sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) where developers can go to one place to learn about the latest developer programs directly from multiple company representatives. This year, DevU will be held on January 10th at the Las Vegas Convention Center, from 9AM to 5PM in Room S228, and 1PM to 5PM in Room S227.
If you want to attend as an audience member all you need to do is register for CES. There is no separate charge for Developer University. If you’re registered for CES, you can attend DevU!
Anupam Nath, a Software Engineer from Sony Mobile Developer Support, will be hosting a session at Developer University. The session “Developer opportunities with Sony SmartWatch ecosystem” is from 4PM to 4:30PM in Room S228. Here, you’ll get an inside look into the Sony SmartWatch extension development and ecosystem. Get the secrets for app discovery and how Sony has helped developers redefine how people use SmartWatch. You’ll also learn how easy it is to extend your current app as a SmartWatch extension.

Anupam Nath works as a Software Engineer (Android) in Developer Support for Sony Mobile. He provides training and presents technical sessions for developers at events around the world. He manages several projects for the Developer Program, including the Device Loaner Program, community technical support on external forums, and developer campaigns that promote innovative app creation within the Android ecosystem.
