J-POP SUMMIT is a Japanese cultural festival held every summer since 2009 in San Francisco. By introducing the latest in Japanese music, fashion, film, art, games, tech-innovations, anime, food, as well as niche subcultures, the festival has become a landing platform for new trends from Japan. The festival is also getting attention as an effective opportunity for promotion and entry point into US markets. In 2014, the festival was held in Japantown and enjoyed 120,000 in attendance in two days. In 2015 in our seventh year, we expand the festival area to four different locations in the city; Fort Mason Center, Union Square, NEW PEOPLE Cinema and Castro Theatre. For more information, please see the J-POP SUMMIT home page.
Teams from MESH and Sony Developer Program will be attending J-POP SUMMIT. Check back with the Developer World Event Calendar soon for more details on our scheduled activities and promotions at J-POP SUMMIT.
