droidcon is a global developer conference series and a network focusing on the best of Android. The idea behind droidcon is to support the Android platform and create a strong network for developers and companies.

The 7th edition of droidcon Berlin will take place from June 3-5, 2015 at Postbahnhof. On June 2nd, we invite you to our Welcome party and on Wednesday, June 3, the conference starts off with a barcamp, followed by the two main conference days on Thursday and Friday. Last but not least attendees can join a hands-on hackathon (Connected Cars Camp) on Saturday. The first droidcon Berlin in 2009 had 300 attendees. Since then, the conference has grown continuously. In 2015 we expect more than 1000 Android enthusiasts in Berlin.

VR AR Hackathon

Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) are no longer just technology trends. Companies are using these new kinds of interaction to close the gap between the digital and the analog world. Now there are already many different possibilities. The current move is to bring VR and AR to mobile devices, to be able to use these technologies any time and any place. Discover what is possible with mobile VR and AR and be a part of the VR/AR Hackathon at Deutsche Telekom on June 19 in Bonn, Germany. At the hackathon, it’s your chance to imagine, discover and develop new ideas and prototypes with Virtual and Augmented Reality. A lot of different skills are required in each and every team – so everyone is invited – students as well as professionals.
