Thanks for your question/comments. Regarding Xperia Z/ZR availability in the US, the only information we can share is what’s been recently noted in the Sony News Room:
“We’re currently finalising agreements with our partners in the US, and will update you as soon as we can with any developments.” You can also check with your local Xperia Customer Care center (http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/xperia-care/assisted/). I do agree with you on the FM radio part as well!

is Sony ever going to make an effort to get a current (Z or ZR or even the SL ) available on AT&T in the US? I only mention the SL as it has an FM radio, all phones should have one imho!

Robert, if you can assist, please call xperia support and submit a bur report survey. we need to make sony aware that there is an LTE problem that is not on the carriers – but is a hardware/software issue that needs to be addressed.

many users cannot access LTE in canada when the 2.6Ghz LTE 7 bands are supported.

sorry, only rogers currently has the LTE 2600mhz band deployed in Canada, and right now the C6603 does not connect

confirmed, Xperia Z C6603 – does not connect LTE on rogers wireless in Ontario Canada. Rogers has the 2600Mhz band LTE 7, but the phone currently does not connect to the service. opened bug report with sony and rogers…. so far, HSPA+ works fine on Rogers, Bell and any other providers that offer the typical bands.

I cannot get my Xperia ZL to show LTE. Only shows H+. Sony said that H+ was in fact LTE but for some reason the LTE just did not display. I’m not sure about this. AT&T said that the ZL could not be configured on their system to even get LTE even though I’ve read that AT&T LTE works with this phone. anyone pipe in here with ideas?

We currently do not have any Xperia LTE-supported models available for Verizon. The most recent Verizon-supported Xperia smartphone is Xperia PLAY, but it’s not LTE. Unfortunately, we cannot comment on future products or releases.
