Hi

Loving the phone but limited bluetooth LE support is very frustrating. Motorola and HTC both support LE better than Sony, even though Google is offically not supporting LE at all and doesn't say when it will (which is even weirder). I would really like to use my heart rate monitor with my phone but can't. When will this be fixed ?

Hi there. I'm a happy owner of the XPERIA Z C6603 for over a month now. My girlfriend is getting the ZL within this week. Everything fine so far. However, I've got some serious questions:

1. Both phones should support HD-Voice (even they are not official certified). Our carrier (t-mobile Germany / Telekom) supports HD Voice. So we should able to have HD Voice calls between the Z and the ZL, right?

2. In my Z the AMR-WB Codec is not listed under Service Info > Configuration > Available Speech codecs. Do I have HD Voice capabilities or not?

3. Bluetooh. Seriously, I don't get it. You and Ericsson together INVENTED Bluetooth. But why has your flagship phone, the iPhone Killer, the S3 Defeater only a handful of profiles? Samsung phones have about three times the bluetooth profile from the start. Sure, nobody needs them all, but why didn't you at least put RSAP in the mix? It's so much better than HFP and Headset profile. Any chance this will be in the phone with the next update (Android 4.2.x)?

4.Bluetooth again. I'v just read that you guys have licensed apt-X technology from CSR. When will the Xperia Z and ZL get apt-X? Next update?

5.Urgent suggestion for the Update: Give users a choice within the camera app for the Z. Let me configure the volume rocker either as digital zoom or as focus and shoot (like: camera button). This would be so great, it's the only button I'm really missing. Can't be that hard to code, it's done in the stock ICS camera app. And even Apple got it right ;-).

I'm looking forward to your answers. Keep up the great work.

Great phone, but very disappointed that this premium phone doesn't support ANT+

It seems that that the phone manufacturers think BT Smart is a replacement for ANT+ and I guess don't like the fact they have to pay ANT licensing costs.

The reasons why BT Smart will not replace ANT+

- The majority of fitness equipment is ANT+, It will be years before the equipment also supports BT Smart.
- For the majority of people who use fitness products, this situation is very common:
http://www.thisisant.com/developer/ant-plus/ant-ble-comparison#384_tab (and BT Smart will not do this)

Bottom line.... If you want to tap into the fitness crowd with your devices, you need to support ANT+
