If I use another player, for example MX Player, will Mobile BE work in it??? I cannot distinguish the differences on my device.

I used to love the effect of the Bravia Engine on my XperiaS. Unfortunately, it was an early model, affected like many by the “yellow stains” disease. I replaced it with a new one… on which the MBE isn’t working. Apparently a lot of Xperias have the Bravia Engine not working, just do in search in Sony or XDA forums to confirm that fact. Shame on Sony for not acknowledging not fixing this.

Mobile BRAVIA® engine is included in certain Xperia™ smartphones, and cannot be installed manually. Unfortunately, Live with Walkman™ doesn’t have Mobile BRAVIA® engine.

it’s a pity that it only works in a default gallery, is it a matter of third party developers to implement BRAVIA in their apps (such as QuickPic)? o can it be forced to work in all apps
