As in rooted, so stock apps (but unwanted) are gone? Those apps also take a lot of memory and processing time

Or is it not possible to use this once updated to the 4.1.B.0.587?

And sometimes it also hangs sometimes and even there are problems in google gallery. The ics version still has some bug problems…. Plz give a new firmware version like 4.0.5.and also a new build number…. Plz… I m a big fan if sony mobile’s… Especially xperia

Why isn’t there any way to get the official update (no alpha/beta roms) and then have the possibility to downgrade to Gingerbread again in case of problems?
I already got issues with BG slowing down veeeeeery often, aren’t updates meant to solve this kind of issues?
Is the Xperia PLAY ever going to have ANY kind of update?
I feel hopeless about it :(

This beta version is only for unlocked phones, just like you already figured out.

However, there is an official update to Ice Cream Sandwich available for Xperia™ ray. Check out sonymobile.com/update for more information. Also note that some versions of the model might not get the update, depending on market and operator differences.

1)why so many boot screen? (make slow boot)
2) still not too got for xperia PLAY (lagging,force close)
3) need more UI on battery, wi-fi and and clock. other nice and flaws
4) need WALKMAN music player
5)Wi-fi not even work. LOL?
