  • Updated Facebook inside Xperia™ which allows users to like, share, and discover on Facebook faster and easier; users also have the ability to share games, apps and songs directly to Facebook™.
  • Enhanced camera capabilities from Sony, including 3D sweep panorama

The Xperia™ software update will be available for most Sony Ericsson devices launched in 2011. Alternately, they have the option to connect to a computer and download it via PC Companion.

How about people who don’t use Windows in their computers and can’t update software in their phones at all? I am one of them and will definitely not buy another SE phone unless this issue is addressed.

      Hi,

this is unfortunately not possible. Many software updates can however be downloaded over the air, straight to your phone. Check the About menu in your settings to see if there are any over the air-updates available for your phone. For some software updates, over the air updates are not possible. In this case, you need to connect your phone to a PC to download and install the update. If you don’t have access to a PC, we recommend you to take the phone back to the store where you purchased it to get help updating the software in your phone.

I think so, they should make a 2.3 update for us,the users of 2.1.

How about W8 update? The W8 come later than the X10 and you should let the users of W8 to update to 2.3 first!

Is there any chance for X10 mini pro software upgrade? I can only download limited applications because I cannot move them to the memory card. It’s really a shame. Please consider to make a software upgrade for X10 mini pro. Thanks.

Thanks for the update, but there are two annoying things with this phone that need fixing.
First is the fact that I can’t mark my text messages as unread…surely a basic feature!
Second is the ‘sound on/off’ on the lock screen. I feel there should be an option to take this off, it is very annoying when the sound comes on by mistake!
