Team SnowBugs wins stage 1 of the Ericsson Application Awards

The first stage competition of the Ericsson Application awards is now over, and the lucky winners were Team SnowBugs. They certainly made an impact on the jury with their Hollywood-inspired application video. Watch their video here.

Now it’s time for the second stage of the competition where you are asked to propose a convincing business opportunity for your application. The presentation (3-5 slides) should include problem statement, target group and business opportunities. Remember that is not too late to join on this competition yet. The deadline for stage 2 of the competition is December 10, 2010, and for stage 3 January 24, 2011.

Ericsson Application Awards is a competition open for students and small/medium sized companies. To take part of the competition you are asked to develop an application based on the Android platform (Web or Native) that addresses the theme “Connected Things” and makes use of at least one Ericsson Labs API.
